Hi Everyone!

My name is Barbara and I live in the Heartland of Minne-snow-da.

My newest love and passion are my Art Dolls called Oddest Goddesses.

*A unique treasure for the unconventional goddess.*

The hand crafted Oddest Goddess starts with a felted body crafted from recycled wool.
Face and Hands individually sculpted. Gemstones, trim, jewels and natural objects…
the goddess’ soul emerges. A heart,that symbolizes the beauty that lies within,is sewn into the body.
The Oddest Goddess is created as a celebration of the unique qualities of every strong woman

I have been a professional artist in a variety of different forms since 1984.

Storyteller (primarily environmental and historical interpretation programs) for groups from 5 to 500!

Bead work artist …I was taught traditional Dakota style by an elder I met at a Pow Wow. Also, I had the pleasure of learning traditional style Anishinabe bead work from Maude Kegg and her daughter Betty .

Jewelry designer and bead work for DragonWings.net ( a Renaissance Festival artist out of Easton, MD) for 14 years or so.

High end necklaces in gold, silver, pearls and gemstones for Jewelry by Da’oud …a Renaissance Festival jewelry designer out of Santa Barbara, Ca for 3 years.

I have been designing and making a wide variety of art pieces for many years.

And I have been a face and body painter at Renaissance Festivals throughout the US for 19 years.
